Chelsea's U21 team, also known as the Youth Team, has been participating in the Youth Cup since 1952 and has won the trophy nine times.

The team is a member of the Professional U18 Development League and is based at Cobham Training Centre. The current squad includes a number of promising young players, including goalkeeper Lucas Bergstrom, defender Levi Colwill, and midfielder Harvey Vale.

The team is managed by Andy Myers, who has been in charge since 2019. Under Myers, the team has won the FA Youth Cup and the Premier League 2 title.

The U21 team is an important part of Chelsea's development pathway, and a number of players have gone on to make their debut for the first team in recent years, including Mason Mount, Reece James, and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
