Darts Community Unites to Tackle Prostate Cancer

The Big 180 Campaign

Paddy Power and Prostate Cancer UK Join Forces

The darts community is coming together to raise awareness and funds for prostate cancer, with Paddy Power and Prostate Cancer UK launching The Big 180 campaign.

The maximum score in darts, 180, represents three treble 20s, and Paddy Power has pledged to donate £1,000 to Prostate Cancer UK for every 180 hit during the Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

"This is a fantastic opportunity to support a very important cause," said Paddy Power spokesperson. "We're calling on all darts fans to join us in raising awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer UK."

Professional darts players have also lent their support to the campaign, including world champion Peter Wright and 16-time world champion Phil Taylor.

Prostate Cancer UK is the UK's leading prostate cancer charity, providing support and information to men and their families affected by the disease.

"We're delighted to partner with Paddy Power on The Big 180 campaign," said Prostate Cancer UK spokesperson. "Every pound raised will help us continue our vital work of supporting men with prostate cancer and their families."

The campaign has already raised over £460,000 through fundraising events organized by pub and club dart leagues across the UK.

To support The Big 180 campaign, fans can donate online or by texting "BIG180" to 70450.
